Prayer Ministry

The Asbury Prayer Ministry aims to provide an opportunity for the congregation and community to learn how to pray, know why you should pray, to provide a place to pray in an atmosphere that is non-threatening and conducive to having a conversation with our Lord and Savior, and to intercede on behalf of the congregation, community, and the world. Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Asbury is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday, during the morning service, a team of volunteers is praying for the ministry of the Word. Throughout the week, volunteers of our Prayer Ministry, which is led by First Lady, Mrs. Ann Blackwell, pray for the pastor, a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs. Our ministry holds a weekly prayer meeting every Tuesday 6pm-7pm.
